1° day: Airport – Pisa – Riviera Ligure
Meeting point of the participants in the agreed place and departure by GT bus to the Ligurian Riviera. Stop along the way to Pisa for a visit to the Piazza dei Miracoli. Packed lunch is charged by the participants. Arrival in the evening at the hotel, accommodation in reserved rooms, dinner and overnight stay.
2° day: Nizza – Montecarlo
Breakfast at hotel and departure for Nice, a mundane center and a seaside resort but also a seat of important museums. The Old City certainly remains the most characteristic, a tangle of narrow streets accompanied by architectures of Baroque and Renaissance style. Visit to the Cathedral of St. Jacques and St. Rèparate and to the Orthodox Cathedral of St. Nicholas. Walk to the Promenade des Anglais and Piazza Garibaldi. Lunch. In the afternoon transfer to Montecarlo and visit of the city: the historic center, the Church of St. Andrea, the highest building in the country; the Palazzo del Principe; the Opera Hall; the Casino, a scene of high society meetings and a stage for many films; the Botanical Park; the Parco delle Meraviglie, with about 700 species of plants and the Observatory. In the evening, return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
3° day: Genoa
Breakfast at hotel and departure for Genoa. In the morning visit to the Aquarium and the Biosphere. The Aquarium is the largest in Europe and in less than fifteen years has become the biggest attraction of the Ligurian capital. Lunch. In the afternoon visit to the city of Genoa, the ancient Maritime Republic and UNESCO World Heritage: Porto Vecchio, Palazzo Spinola and Palazzo Ducale, San Lorenzo Cathedral, Via Garibaldi, the Strada Nuova Museum and the Galata Museo del Mare. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
4° day: Cannes – Antibes
Breakfast at hotel and departure for Cannes. Visit to the Suquet, the historic center and the famous Croisette, the Cannes seafront. It is important to admire the Palazzo del Cinema, which for the Festival of the same name is animated by stars and divas, but also by journalists and curious. Lunch. In the afternoon transfer to Antibes and visit to the typical Provencal town with narrow alleys, pastel-colored houses and flowered balconies. The Picasso Museum in the Grimaldi Castle is worth a visit. It houses 23 paintings and 44 drawings by the Spanish artist who lived in Antibes in 1944. The museum dedicated to Raymond Peynet is less intellectual but equally enjoyable. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
5° day: Riviera Ligure – Florence Area – Airport
