Day 1: Rome
Arrival to Rome airport and private transfer to the hotel 4* in Rome, dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Rome
Breakfast, meeting with our local guide in the hall of the hotel, departure by private bus to visit Rome city centre. Visit to: Basilica of St Peter, Sistine Chapel and Vatican Museums. After lunch, guided tour of: Trevi fountain, Spanish steps, Piazza Venezia, Piazza Navona, Campo dei Fiori and the Pantheon. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.
Day 3: Rome
Breakfast, meeting with our local guide in the hall of the hotel, departure by private bus to visit Rome city centre. Visit to: Basilica of St. Maria Maggiore, Basilica of St. John’s in Laterano. After lunch guided tour of: The Capitol Square, View of Roman Forum, Colosseum, Arch of Costantine. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Rome – Florence – Milan
Breakfast meeting with our escort in the hall of the hotel, departure by private bus for Florence city centre. Visit to: Duomo, Baptistery and Bell tower; the Baptistery, one of the city’s most ancient religious buildings; the beauty of its doors moved Michelangelo to call them “the Gates of Paradise”! We continue the visit with the main square, Piazza Signoria, the Uffizi Gallery and the Franciscan church of Santa Croce, known as “the Pantheon of the Italian Glories”, because there are so many monumental tombs of great personalities of the past such as Michelangelo, Galileo Galilei, Machiavelli, Rossini. Short walking tour along the Arno River to admire the famous Ponte Vecchio, the only bridge on the Arno that wasn’t destroyed in World War II. Continue of the tour to grant Milan, hotel accommodation, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Ferrara
Breakfast, meeting with our local guide in the hall of the hotel. Walking guided tour: Sforzesco Castle Grounds, Duomo Square with its magnificent gothic Dom, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele and La Scala Opera House. Lunch. During the afternoon free time for Shopping in Via Monte Napoleone. At the end of the visit transfer to Como Lake to do a Relaxing cruise on the Lake, here you will be able to have a grand panoramic view of the pre-alpine glacial mountains roundabout. We will be cruising on the western shoreline for a better view of the most famous villas, such as Villa d’Este, Villa Grass and the celebrity George Clooney’s Villa. Day 6: Como Lake – Geneva
Breakfast and departure for Geneva, guided tour of the city: the Old Town will take You throught the narrow streets of Geneva’s historic Old Town, visiting the most famous sites such as St. Peter’s Cathedral; Place du Bourg-de-Fourand a must-visit square, the oldest place in Geneva, where the Roman marketplace used to trade its wares. The middle of the square is decorated by simple marble medieval fountains. Around the square are restaurants and coffee shops with very popular outside seating, often full of people for its unique historic and authentic atmosphere. The most famous are Café de Bourg-de-Four, La Clémence and Restaurant au Carnivore. Hotel accomodation, dinner and night.
Day 7: Geneva – Paris
Breakfast and departure for Paris. Arriving to the city and meeting with the guide to do a panoramic tour of the beautiful city to admire the backgrounds of the major monuments of the central districts of Paris: the City Island that is the heart of Paris; the Left bank with the intellectual Latin Quarter, the artistic Montparnasse and Saint Germain des Près; the Right bank with the bank of business and politics with the trendy Marais, the hilly Montmartre, The Louvre, the brightfull Great boulevards and their astonishing department stores. You can stop in an old bistrot, in a pastry shop, a boulangerie. Hotel accommodation, dinner and night.
Day 8: Paris
Breakfast, meeting with the guide to visit the famous museum of Louvre, learn about Greek, Roman, Renaissance and French classical art in an easy and relaxed way by observing the best examples of Raphael, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and Jacques-Louis David. The Louvre has its own 3 ‘must-see’s’: the Venus of Milo, the Winged Victory of Samothrace and, of course, the Mona Lisa. Guide will explain you one of the most important museum of the world. During the afternoon visit of the city: Eiffel Tower, Champs Elysees from the Arc de Triumph to the Concorde Square, Opera Garnier, the Invalides and keep your eyes peeled for Quasimodo during your short stop at the historic cathedral of Notre Dame. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.
Day 9: Paris – Versailles – Seine
Breakfast, meeting with the guide and transfer to Versailles to visit the Royal Palace and its park. In the afternoon guided visit of Montmartre for a free visit of the Sacré Coeur and Place du Tertre. Dinner and cruise by bateau mouche to have spectacular views over the river Seine, Champs de Mars and Trocadero. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 10: Paris
Breakfast, free time for shopping and transfer by private bus to Pairs airport.
