SCHOOL TRIP TO LAKE GARDA AND VERONA

1°day: Airport – Garda Lake
Meeting of participants in the airport and departure by GT bus. Stop along the route. Packed lunch is charged by the participants. In the evening, arrival at the hotel, accommodation in reserved rooms, dinner and overnight stay.

2° day: Garda Lake – Sirmione – Vittoriale degli Italiani
Breakfast at  hotel and departure for an excursion along Garda Lake with a stop in Sirmione, a beautiful city that rises on a characteristic promontory and extends over a thin strip of land that leads to the lake between the gulfs of Peschiera and Desenzano. Visit to the historic center, the famous Rocca Scaligera and the famous Grotte di Catullo. Lunch and continuation of the trip to Gardone Riviera for the visit to the famous Vittoriale degli Italiani, a complex of buildings, streets, squares, an open theater, gardens and streams built between 1921 and 1938. Il Vittoriale today it is a foundation open to the public and visited every year by about 180,000 people. In the evening, return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

3° day: Gardaland or Venice
Breakfast at  hotel and transfer to Gardaland. Full day to spend in the park, in the splendid scenery of Lake Garda. Lunch. * Gardaland is closed in February and March, so we suggest the following excursion to Venice: Piazza San Marco, dominated by the famous “Basilica di San Marco” with the Campanile and the Clock Tower, the Church of St. Maria Formosa and the Saints John and Paolo, also known as the Pantheon of Venice, the Malibran Theater, Rialto Bridge, the Bridge of Sighs and the very precious Palazzo Ducale. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

4° day: Verona – Mantua
Breakfast at  hotel and departure for the visit to the city of Verona, Unesco heritage: Piazza delle Erbe, Piazza dei Signori, Juliet’s House, Castelvecchio Bridge, the Verona Arena and the Basilica of St. Zeno. Lunch. In the afternoon excursion to Mantua and visit of the city: Piazza St. Francesco, piazza d’Arco, where Palazzo d’Arco is located. Among magnificent decorations of historic buildings and numerous churches, we arrive in the famous Piazza Mantegna, where it enchants the architectural beauty and grandeur of the church of St. Andrew the Apostle with its bell tower, the Casa del Mercante and Piazza Erbe up to piazza Sordello, ancient fulcrum of the political life of the city. In the evening, return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
