Day 1: Rome
Arrival to Rome airport and private transfer to the hotel 4* in Rome, dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Rome
Breakfast, meeting with our local guide in the hall of the hotel, departure by private bus to visit Rome city centre. Visit to: Basilica of St Peter, Sistine Chapel and Vatican Museums. After lunch, guided tour of: Trevi fountain, Spanish steps, Piazza Venezia, Piazza Navona, Campo dei Fiori and the Pantheon. Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 3: Rome
Breakfast, meeting with our local guide in the hall of the hotel, departure by private bus to visit Rome city centre. Visit to: Basilica of St. Maria Maggiore, Basilica of St. John’s in Laterano. After lunch guided tour of: The Capitol Square, View of Roman Forum, Colosseum, Arch of Costantine. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Rome – Pisa – Genoa
Breakfast meeting with our escort in the hall of the hotel, departure by private bus for Pisa to visit the beautiful Square of Miracles (Piazza dei Miracoli), your sight will be captivated by the magnificent Tower, the Leaning Tower. Your visit will continue with the other monuments in the square: the Cathedral and the Baptistery. Lunch and departure for Genoa, hotel accommodation, dinner and night.
Day 5: Genoa – Nice
Breakfast, meeting with our local guide in the hall of the hotel. Walking guided tour of the city: beginning at the Old Port area, and winds its way through Genoa’s narrow “caruggi” (alleyways) and ancient squares. You can admire the: Cathedral, Palazzo Ducale and the Carlo Felice Opera House, and the tour ends with a visit to the “Strada Nuova” (Via Garibaldi), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Free time to discover the faboulous world of the Aquarium in the city. Lunch and departure for Nice to have a walking tour of this magical coastal city of southern Frances Cote d’Azur region. Stroll along the Mediterranean Sea on the Promenade des Anglais and admire the sweeping views of the Alps and St. Tropez from the top of Castle Hill. Explore Nice’s Old Town and stop at its famous flower market. Hotel accommodation, dinner and night.
Day 6: Nice – Cannes – Barcelona
Breakfast and departure by private bus for Cannes, visit the famous seaside boulevard “La Croisette” and stop to take photos on the famous “red carpet” where the film festival is held every May. Continue the travel to grant Barcelona, hotel accommodation, dinner and night.
Day 7: Barcelona
Breakfast, meeting with the guide in the hall of the hotel and visit of the Catalonian capital: the Sagrada Familia, the Ramblas and visit Plaça Catalunya, Plaça d’Espanya and view the soaring monument to Christopher Columbus, passeig de Gràcia, , Stop at Montjuïc, where the 1992 Olympic Games took place, and stroll Mirador de l’Alcalde Park. Dinner in a typical restaurant to drink the Sangria and to eat paella. Come back to the hotel for the overnight stay.
Day 8: Barcelona – Saragozza – Madrid
Breakfast and departure by private bus for Madrid with a stop in Saragozza where you can explore with the guide the historic quartier, Plaza del Pilar square, the majestic Basilica of el Pilar, the Lonja building, the Cathedral of La Seo. Continue for Madrid, arriving to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 9: Madrid
Breakfast, meeting with the guide and beginning of the visit of the city from the route in the Gran Via, the cultural and commercial heart of the city, surrounded by cinemas, theatres and shops. From here you can get the principle tourist places in Madrid, like Puerta del Sol, Mayor Square, the Royal Palace, the Sabatini Gardens or the Almudena’s Cathedral. You can admire the Cibeles Fountain (Fuente de Cibeles), and Alcalá Door (Puerta de Alcalá), walking from the Retiro to the España Square. Dinner at at Tablao to eat and see a flamenco show. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 10: Madrid
Breakfast, meeting with the guide for your art walk, called that because the 3 most important museums of Madrid: Prado, Thyssen-Bornemisza and Reina Sofía. During your travel you should visit one of these art galleries. In their rooms you can admire paintings like “Las Meninas” of Velázquez, “La Santa Catalina” of Caravaggio and “El Guernica” of Picasso. After visiting the museum you can go to the Botanic Garden that is close to Prado or to Palacio Real110. Free time for the shopping. Come back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 11: Madrid
Breakfast, transfer to the airport by private bus.
