CLASSICAL CAMPANIA

• Day 1: Naples Airport/Station – Hotel Naples
  Arrival at Naples International Airport/ train station and transfer to the hotel for free time and dinner.

  Day 2: Naples
  Breakfast at the hotel and visit to the National Archaeological Museum of Naples, the ancient museum commissioned by the king Charles III of Bourbon to promote the exploration of the Vesuvian towns buried by the eruption of 79 A.D. Then, you will proceed to visit Castel Nuovo (also called Maschio Angioino) the castle that became the centre of culture giving hospitality to artists, doctors and men of letters during the reign of the Anjou. To follow, The Theater San Carlo and Piazza del Plebiscito, scenario of the main local and national events. Lunch In a typical pizzeria. In the afternoon, visit to Castel dell’Ovo the famous ancient building made famous by the legend of the “enchanted egg” hidden by the Latin poet Virgil. Dinner at the hotel. Free time and overnight.

  Day 3: Pompei and Vesuvio
  Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Pompeii for a guided tour of the archaeological site. There you will experience the ancient roman commercial town of 3 Km: buildings, temples, shops catched in the time of the eruption. Free lunch and transfer to the Vesuvio National Park with guided excursion on the only active volcano in continental Europe. Dinner at the hotel. Free time and overnight.

  Day 4: Hotel Naples – Naples Airport/Station
  Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to the Airport/ train station.
