SCHOOL TRIPS IN ROMAGNA

1° day: Airport – Urbino – Rimini
Meeting point of the participants in the agreed place and departure for Rimini by reserved GT bus. Stop along the route to Urbino for a visit to the historic center and the medieval village surrounding the castle. Packed lunch is charged by the participants. At the end, continuation of the trip to Rimini, accommodation in hotel in reserved rooms, dinner and overnight stay.

2° day: Italy in Miniature
Breakfast at  hotel and departure for Ravenna, famous all over the world for its Byzantine mosaics. Visit of the city and its main monuments: Mausoleum of Theodoric, Tomb of Dante, Church of St. Vitale; Galla Placidia and its gardens. Lunch. In the afternoon excursion to Viserba for the visit of Italy in Miniature, a “walk” to admire the small scale reproductions of the most famous monuments in Italy, through over 270 perfect architectural masterpieces. In the evening return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

3° day: Ferrara
Breakfast at  hotel and departure for Ferrara, UNESCO World Heritage Site and the first city of the European Renaissance. Visit to the historic center, Palazzo della Ragione, Addizione Erculea, a Renaissance urban division which has arrived intact in our times. Continuation of the visit with: the Quadrivio degli Angeli, the Basilica of St. Giorgio outside the walls and the Cathedral of St. Giorgio. Lunch. In the afternoon visit to the Estense Castle, to St. Cristoforo alla Certosa and via delle Volte. In the evening, return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

4° day: Mirabilandia or Bologne – Faenza
Breakfast at hotel and subsequent departure for MIrabilandia *. Full day to spend inside the amusement park. Lunch. * Mirabilandia is closed during the months of February and March, therefore we suggest excursion to Bologne, where you can visit: Piazza Maggiore, Palazzo dei Banchi, Basilica of San Petronio, Palazzo dei Notai, Palazzo d’Accursio, the Two Towers of the Asinelli , the Basilica of St. Stefano. On the way back to the hotel stop in Faenza for a visit to the historic center where you can admire the famous ceramic workshops for which Faenza is known throughout the world. Lunch during the excursion. In the evening return to the hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

5° day: San Marino – Airport
Breakfast at  hotel and departure for San Marino, the smallest Republic in the world that boasts a rich heritage of architectural assets including monuments, museums, works of art and tourist sites. Lunch. In the afternoon departure for the airport.
