Day 1,Airport - Cracovia

Meeting of participants at the airport, processing of boarding formalities and departure for Krakow. Arrival, meeting with the local guide and sightseeing of the city, the ancient Polish capital: the Old Town, Piazza del Mercato, the Church of Santa Maria Vergine, the Town Hall Tower, the Cloth Market. In the evening, hotel accommodation, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2,Cracovia - Wadowice - Auschwitz - Czestochowa

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for Wadowice, the birthplace of John Paul II. Visit to the "memories" of Pope Wojtyla and celebration of the Holy Mass. Continue to Oswiecim for the visit of the former Nazi concentration camp of Auschwitz-Birkenau. Lunch and departure for Czestochowa. Arrival at the hotel in the afternoon and accommodation in the reserved rooms. Time available for a first farewell to the Black Madonna at the Sanctuary of Jasna Gora (the luminous mountain). Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3,Czestochowa

Breakfast at the hotel. Full day pilgrimage to the Sanctuary of the Black Madonna, symbolic place of Polish Catholicism, founded in 1382, at the request of King Louis I of Anjou the Great, to host the Paolini monks driven out of Hungary. Since its foundation the monastery was the heart of national sentiment and, due to the white stone of the church, it immediately had the name of Jasna Gora (the luminous mountain). Painted on cypress wood, tradition recounts that the Black Madonna who is revered by them comes from Jerusalem. Celebration of the Holy Mass, visit to the Sanctuary and time available for personal prayer. Lunch, dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 4,Czestochowa - Wieliczka - Cracovia

Breakfast at the hotel, release of rooms and departure for Krakow with a stop along the way to Wieliczka for a visit to the salt mines, the oldest Polish mines still in operation. At the end of the visit, transfer to Krakow, time available for individual and optional visits, for the purchase of souvernirs. Hotel accommodation in the evening, dinner and overnight.

Day 5,Cracovia - Airport

Breakfast at the hotel and free time. At the end, transfer to the airport, processing of boarding formalities and departure for the return to Italy.
